Just came back from my girl school event called nibun-no-ichi seijinshiki, meaning “halfway to coming of age”. Celebrated when a child is 10 years old, it’s a marker of the midway point between birth and adulthood. This event is about children give thanks to their parents, and think about their hopes and dreams for the future. They did a performance and singing. I enjoyed it. My girl wrote quite a long ones.
In fact, last Sunday was her last Rhythmic Gymnastic performance. Quit after 5 years hard work :(
